A rod end with a pressed spherical plain bearing is primarily used for alternating or shock-like loads and large swiveling movements.
The hard chrome-plated ball offers effective corrosion protection. Even in damp ambient conditions, the function of the joint head is not impaired by rust spots on the surface of the ball.
The rod ends can be relubricated using a funnel-type lubrication nipple or a special lubrication nipple according to customer requirements.
