Recirculating Ball Bearing and Guideway Assemblies
Linear Rolling Guidance Systems
Recirculating ball bearing and guideway assemblies consist of a few modular components such as steel base body, rail, end caps, end seals, inner seals and side seals, cage, return pipe and balls as rolling elements.
The steel base body is available in a flange or block design, in a flat, medium or high version. In addition to standard lengths, short, long and extra long types are available.
The ground and hardened rails can be cut individually from industrial standard sizes. Screwing options are from above and from below. The prepared rails allow extra lengths to be built.
The raceways of the modern ball rail systems are manufactured in a defined radius in order to increase the contact surface and thereby significantly increase the load capacity, service life and rigidity of the balls.
Guides are available with or without a ball chain, which takes on the role of a cage and prevents the balls from touching each other. The orderly ball guidance results in several advantages such as higher maximum speed, lower heat and noise, smooth running, optimal lubrication, even load distribution and the resulting longer service life.
Different preload and accuracy classes are available.
It is possible to use various additional seals and lubrication systems that can be combined individually according to the degree of contamination.
Guides made of stainless steel or black chrome, hard chrome and other special coatings can be used for higher corrosion protection requirements.
Toothed or curved rails, high-temperature elements, masking tapes, bellows, clamping, braking elements, measuring systems etc. allow further options.
