Flexible Couplings
Flexible couplings with their torsional flexibility offer the possibility of absorbing and relocating critical torsional vibrations in such a way that no negative effects on the operating range of the machine system are to be expected.
In addition, the high material damping of the elastic elements can handle critical speed ranges, with the resonance transmission being kept within limits.
System-related shocks are damped and thus the coupled machine parts are protected.
Torsionally Stiff Couplings
Torsionally stiff couplings are used where torques are transmitted reliably and maintenance-free and a torsionally stiff connection is required.
