Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Rolling Bearings
Single row deep groove ball bearings are the most commonly used types of bearings. Simple to set up, insensitive to operation, suitable for high to very high speeds, they are used in many different ways.
The design with deep grooves enables radial loads to be absorbed as well as axial loads from both directions. The single row radial ball bearings have standard cages made of stamped steel or brass sheet. Alternatively, cages made of plastic, phenolic resin or solid machined brass are available.
To seal the deep groove ball bearings, they can be equipped with cover disks or seals on one or both sides. A combination of both is also possible. There is also a selection of special seals and covers available for special operating conditions, e.g. for high speeds and temperatures, if tightened sealing is required, if a filter function is required directly on the roller bearing or speed detection. Deep groove ball bearings with an annular groove on the outer ring are also available.
Double Row Deep Groove Ball Bearing
Double row deep groove ball bearings are similar in construction to single row deep groove ball bearings and are used for applications for which the load capacity of a single row design is not sufficient. They have the same bore and outer diameter and are only a little wider, whereby significantly higher resilience is guaranteed.
Single Direction Axial Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Single direction axial deep groove ball bearings consist of separable elements such as a shaft washer, housing washer and ball ring and are equipped with a stamped sheet steel cage. With a contact angle of 90°, they are only suitable for absorbing axial loads. The bearings only support a shaft in one direction and are suitable for low speeds.
Two Directions Axial Deep Groove Ball Bearings
Two directions axial deep groove ball bearings have two housing washers and two sets of balls held by cages and can therefore bear axial loads in both directions.
