Axial needle roller bearings or axial cylindrical roller bearings have a running ring, counter ring and an axial cage in which needles (or cylindrical rollers) are guided and held. This ensures excellent angular guidance, very low internal friction and perfect operation. This rolling element is guided by a retaining ring.

After the first revolutions, it automatically centers itself on the axis of rotation, so that the bearing with its built-in ring does not have to be centered with an exact fit.
