Rod Ends with Spherical Plain Bearing
Heavy-Duty Rod Ends
A rod end with integral shperical plain bearing is suitable for small swiveling movements and low speeds. This type is extremely resilient, even with jerky movements. The ball is hard chrome-plated and slides on a special, glass fiber-reinforced plastic plain bearing shell, which also contains PTFE to minimize friction.
This construction guarantees absolute maintenance-free function and is practically free of play. In addition, the plastic shell used picks up any foreign objects that penetrate it and makes them harmless by trapping them.
Heavy-Duty Rod Ends manufactured by Durbal- Highlights
- Bearing shell made of polyamide-PTFE-glass fiber compound, maintenance-free, encapsulates penetrating foreign particules
- Joint ball made of roller bearing steel, hardened, ground, polished, hard chrome-plated running surface, thereby effective protection against corrosion
- Backlash-free - radial internal clearance 0-10 qm
- All rod end housings made of forged case-hardened steel, tempered, for extremely high load
- Available in stainless steel
- Inch dimensions available
- Connection dimensions according to DIN ISO 12240-4 and DIN ISO 8139 for pneumatic cylinders
