Linear Rolling Guidance Systems
Ball bushings or ball sleeves perform linear guidance of machine components along a cylindrical shaft on which the balls run directly. More rows of balls allow higher loads. The linear ball bearings are available in standard or corrosion-resistant versions and have plastic or steel or stainless steel cages.
Versions sealed with wipers are available on one or both sides to protect against dirt. Standard ball bushings according to ISO dimensions (ISO 10285) in closed form are widely used in a wide variety of applications, have a precise cylindrical shape and good running properties.
Over a long working distance, open standard ball bushings are used in combination with shaft support.
The slotted standard ball bushing can be used for installation in a housing with an adjustable inner diameter and enables the adjustment of the play between shaft and ball bushing.
Ball bushings can also be supplied in various flange or tandem versions.
